Please hydrate!! Winter Park sits at ~9,000 feet above sea level. The ceremony & reception site is at 11,200 feet! Consider spending a night in Denver to acclimate to the altitude if coming from sea level. We are collecting RSVPs for the ceremony only - please scroll through all of the events to RSVP. Gondola & shuttle ride is mandatory, there is no other way to get to the site!

Friday Morning Fun & Chinese Door Games (optional)

**TRANSPORTATION INFO** There will be two shuttles leaving from John and Angela's house at approximately 11am and 12pm. There will be limited seating available. Parking is readily available in town, Cooper Creek garage is a great place to drop a car. There will be vans going from Hideaway to the resort beginning at 2:45 that WILL get you there on time. ** Join us at our favorite watering hole in the valley for a pint! (P.S. try out the Chicago style hot dog shop next door!) Kids and dogs welcome to this event! Chinese door games start ~ 12:30pm Known as chuangmen, originated from the idea that a bride is a prized daughter, worth so much that her family refuses to marry her off easily. Therefore, a man worthy of her hand must pass certain “tests” to claim his bride-to-be. The bridesmaids will refuse to “surrender” the bride until the groom has completed the tests.

Gondola & Bus to the top! (Mandatory)

3:30 pm

Transportation from Hideaway to the resort will be available at 2:45p until the last gondola. Parking is readily available at the Winter Park village garage and it is a short walk to the gondola. Transport (Gondola + shuttle) from the base of the resort to Ceremony/Reception site will start ~3:45PM. Please allow enough time to park (or take the provided shuttle from Hideway Park brewery at 3pm), walk through the village, take the Gondola and then shuttle up to the venue. Brewery/town to the resort is ~15 min drive. The Gondola is ~10 min scenic ride, then you’ll take a short bus ride to Lunch Rock where all the festivities are .***You canNOT drive to the ceremony/reception site. If you will be arriving after the last gondola (~4:15pm) you will need to be driven up to the site by the resort staff. Please contact us if this is the case.***

"Mountain Formal" Anything from cowboy boots & bolo ties to cocktail to black tie is welcome. Dress warmly!

Ceremony at ~4:30pm with cocktails & reception to follow. - You will NOT be able to drive to the ceremony/reception site. Gondola + shuttle service will begin 45 mins prior to ceremony time. Anyone arriving late will need to be driven to the top by resort staff, there is no public access. Please contact us if you plan to arrive late. -A reminder that you will be at 11,200 feet! Please hydrate. Weather in the mountains may be chilly and temperatures drop quickly as the sun goes down. Historical temps: mid-high 50's F / 10 C daytime, high 20's F/ -6 C overnight. Dress accordingly. -Return shuttles from the reception site to the base of the Gondola will start after dinner. There will be 3 total shuttles (after dinner, mid-reception, end of evening). -Vans will be available at the base of the resort to take you back to Winter Park or Fraser, the first van is at 10pm and the final drop is 11:30pm.

Saturday Picnic (optional)

We will plan to hang at Hideaway Park / Rendezvous event center near the Winter Park skate park in town the day after the big event! It's easily walkable from town and there is street parking - or you can park in the Cooper Creek garage and walk over. There is a play structure for kiddos and restrooms. Everyone is welcome! Lunch is BYO. We will bring light snacks and camp out either on the lawn or in the picnic pavilion. Grab some picnic supplies or check out some of the local places in town -including Pepe Osaka's fish tacos, Rudi's deli, Fraser valley dogs, James Peak Pizza, the Ditch, or any of the places in Cooper Creek!
