Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids-we really do! But we want our wedding to be your vacation or night off! We are having an adults only ceremony and reception and all wedding related events. However, the resort is a family friendly resort. If you plan to bring your children to enjoy outside of wedding events, please arrange for someone to watch them. The resort does have a kids club.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Beach formal for most events and cocktail attire for the ceremony and reception. No red, please.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest" then yes, if not, we would like to see just you.

Question

How do I get there?

Answer

Fly into the Cancun airport, a transfer can be arranged with the hotel, a booking site, or at the airport. It is about 1.5 hours from the airport. Tripadvisor, viator have a lot of good options.

Question

Covid Testing

Answer

To enter MX, there are no restrictions. To return to the US you will need a negative covid test. Dreams does them onsite. Download the AMR app and schedule a Covid test for 24 hour before your departure. Concierge can also schedule this for you as well. You will get your results before you check out and you can present your results at the gate when you are at the airport. There are also many covid testing sites around Tulum beach as well.

Question

Do I need Pesos?

Answer

It always helps to have local money as the exchange rate is better. However, everywhere you go will take dollars. There are ATMS at the resort as well.

Question

Do you have recommendations for good tour companies?

Answer

Yes! There are so many! We have used Cancun Adventures and really enjoyed the experience! They have many tours ranging from ATV/Ziplining, Cenote tours, Ruin tours, etc! Keep in mind that most tours start very early in the morning and can also last for several hours!

Question

Can I use my phone in Mexico?

Answer

Most service providers cover all of North America for free (Canada, US, MX) so your phones should work on data without roaming charges however, you should check with your provider. At the resort, if you are connected to Wifi then you will be able to imessage everyone with an iphone. For people that do not have iphones a popular app that many people use in MX including local people, is Whatsapp. Consider downloading that app whether you have an iphone or an android as it is a great way to keep in contact with people and contact local tour operators, taxis etc.
