Outdoor seating right on the water next to the pier. Live music most nights and afternoons. This is where we ate the night we got engaged! A must-see for anyone exploring Ft Myers Beach for the first time!

Super fun open-air restaurant with TVs and live music playing a lot of nights! Many local Florida beers!
Smokin Oyster Brewery
The SOB! Small and super-popular open-air seafood restaurant. They also have 2 of their own beers that are very tasty!
Nervous Nellie's
The site of our rehearsal dinner!! Fun space on the bay with live music every night, lots of outdoor waterfront seating, and a huge menu. It'll be a hard choice, but you can't go wrong...everything we've tried here is good!
Pete's Time Out
Fun outdoor restaurant in the heart of Fort Myers Beach's Times Square. Frequent live music and only steps from the pier and beach!

Plaka Restaurant
Delicious Greek restaurant (they do have American food too) in the heart of Fort Myers Beach! Outdoor tables right near the pier, and you can often see the live entertainers in Times Square from your seat!
Bonita Bills Waterfront Cafe
If you feel like walking over the bridge (the view is totally worth it!), Bonita Bill's is a favorite local spot with super cheap food (be aware: it's cash only), an open-air environment, and the bay as your backdrop. There's also karaoke on Tuesdays and Fridays, but go early, because you sometimes can't get a seat after 5, and it ends at 9! Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to go on a night that DOESN'T include a song from Lindsay and I Do Crew members Julie, Kristen, and Ginger (see pic above)! Actually, Ginger is awesome and will be singing at our wedding! It's the rest of us you don't want to hear. ;)
Shucker's at the Gulfshore and The Cottage Bar
If you're looking for a breakfast, lunch, or dinner spot with unobstructed views of the beach, this is it! The food is delicious too! And at night, the attached Cottage Bar is open till 2 am and one of our favorite beach hangouts!
The Salty Crab Bar & Grill
Open-air beach restaurant/bar with tables right on the sand! They have rum buckets, lots of seafood, and even NFL Sunday Ticket for any of you who may want to watch your favorite team's game or keep up with your fantasy team the day after the wedding!
Doc Ford's Rum Bar & Grille - Ft. Myers Beach
You'll have to walk over the bridge to get here if you're staying on the island, but we promise you'll enjoy the view along the way! Doc Ford's is named after the character in the Randy Wayne White book series, which takes place on nearby Sanibel Island (and sometimes in Ft Myers too). Randy Wayne White is a local celebrity (Lindsay met him at a book signing!), and you can buy copies of all the books at the restaurant, along with Doc Ford memorabilia. And if you're just along for the food or the waterfront vibe, both are fantastic! Doc Ford's was just named by TripAdvisor as the #1 restaurant in the US for Top Everyday Eats!
Mr. G's House of 2000 Flavors
Well, they really don't have even close to 2000 flavors, but the ones they do have are really good! Lindsay's favorite is the Cookie Monster (as you can tell). An after-dinner or break-from-the-beach must!
