Question

What is your COVID-19 policy?

Answer

We will be following all state and county guidelines as we prepare for our wedding day! Currently, Minnesota does not require masking indoors. At this time, we will not be requiring masks. Please wear one if it makes you feel more comfortable. Our ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) with an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour, and an indoor reception. We are requiring all guests to be vaccinated. We encourage guests who are not feeling well the day of the wedding to please stay home. Please continue to check our website as we get closer to the wedding for any updates as we navigate the ever-changing pandemic.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins promptly at 4:30. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking onsite at Mendakota Country Club.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. We will provide a shuttle service from the Omni Viking Lakes Hotel to Mendakota Country Club Sunday afternoon. We will also provide a shuttle back to the hotel at the end of the night. See specific departure times below: PRE-CEREMONY SHUTTLE DEPARTURE (From Hotel to Mendakota) 3:30 P.M. - First shuttle departs from hotel 4:05 P.M. - Second (and last shuttle before the ceremony) departs from hotel. POST-RECEPTION SHUTTLE DEPARTURE TIMES (From Mendakota to hotel) 8:30 P.M. First shuttle departs from reception. The shuttle will continue to drive in a loop between the reception venue and the hotel for the remainder of the evening. You can catch the shuttle in the Mendakota parking lot when you are ready to leave for the night. 11:15 Final shuttle departs from reception.
