Welcome Garden Party

Please join us in the Palm Garden for a first look of the newlyweds and enjoy drinks and canapés. We welcome you to meet our closest family and friends and enjoy the historic location. Enter through the main gate, to the right of the building, down the staircase and follow the path to the magnificent palm garden overlooking the ocean and Funchal.
Attire- Please feel encouraged to wear light, elevated attire. Flowy dresses, linens, florals, soft pastel tones. We recommend breathable linens for men and dressy casual silhouettes suited for a mid day, cliffside setting. Jacket optional for men. The paving in the garden is traditional Madeira rounded rock pavers, we recommend block heels for women as it can be a bit uneven.

Complimentary Yoga on the Lawn

To unwind and prepare for an exciting day, we invite you to join us on the lawn for an hour long yoga session. This will be friendly for all experience levels and a wonderful chance to working on breath work and stretching while overlooking the coast.
Completely optional but a great excuse to come have breakfast and unwind before the festivities of the day. Please wear athletic wear and keep in mind the respectful nature of the location.
Ceremony

Join us cliffside, overlooking the Atlantic to celebrate Andrew and Maria in matrimony.
The ceremony will be in the gazebo area of the hotel, follow the signs through the lobby, out to the terrace and up the stairs to the gazebo. The ceremony will be seated on grass overlooking Funchal. In celebration of our wedding at Portugals first luxury hotel, we warmly invite you to embrace the spirit of the setting with attire that is both formal, elegant and expressive. Reception

Post ceremony, expect a small sparkling wine service and then prepare to walk to Villa Cipriani- about 6 minute walk from the wedding gazebo area. You'll follow the path around the garden, back up the winding staircase, turn left and follow the pavers to the restaurant. You'll see a gelato shop, enter and go upstairs.
Dinner, drinks and dessert will be served. Enjoy the view of the Atlantic and the ambiance of the Madeira coast with the newlyweds. Later in the evening, the DJ will invite everyone to join for dancing. The dance floor and area will be treated as a night club and open- Till' AM (4am last call) no one is obligated to stay the entirety. However the option to dance is how you're feeling. Late night snacks will be served.

Pool Party

Join us for a pool party on both the sea deck, with diving boards into the ocean. Or at one of the three vast and heated pools. Drinks and food can be ordered by staff or at the bar to your loungers. Loungers are first come, first serve. Pools and sea deck will be open to hotel guests, this is casual and not private event. If you are interested in Reid's Palace famous afternoon tea, please inquire to Maria or the hotel directly for reservations. $75 per person.
Farewell Dinner

Meet at Reid's Place for transfer to Câmara de Lobos.
Before we say goodbye, we'd like to celebrate with one final traditional Madeira meal, sangria and espetada (churrascaria, meat skewers cooked on fire). Other vegetarian options include, Bolo do caco, Milho frito, Ensalada. Confirm meal preferences on rsvp.
