Both working careers in aviation—Andrew is an airline captain, and Maria a flight attendant. They met in Richmond Virginia both on separate layovers and met through a colleague. Maria was supposed to meet at the local bar and was late because she was shoe shopping… Andrew walked in the door and Maria saw his blue quarter zip and tennis shoes and knew he was the one. After Jamison and Jäegermeister shots, and a little bit of karaoke they immediately hit it off. They did not exchange numbers… They both went back to work the next day. Maria called her mom and told her she met someone special and wondered if it meant anything. Her mom told her to find him, and she did. Maria messaged him on Facebook and the rest is history.
