The largest high-alpine pasture in Europe. A stunning meadow dotted with rifugios, relaxed hiking, and great views of the surrounding mountains. Sunset is really nice from up here. Look up how to get here as driving requires a reservation; otherwise buses & cable cars can get you there.

The most picturesque valley in the world? Just north of Val di Gardena, famous on IG/TikTok for the church in Santa Maddalena. Great hikes and viewpoints including the Santa Maddalena Viewpoint and Adolf Munkel trail. Great for sunset.

Probably the most popular hiking area in the Dolomites. Closer to Cortina where the 2026 Winter Olympics are. This is the TikTok famous viewpoint and it lives up to the hype. You need to make an online reservation to drive up and it costs ~40€, otherwise you can take a bus.

Another "classic" Dolomites spot; touristy, but gorgeous. Known for its reflective waters and canoes you can rent. Short hike around the circumference of the lake. ~15€ parking fee.

Drive up lake with great views. Good for swimming if it's warm. The glacial mud feels really good on your skin!
