Explore - North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences
This museum is great for all ages and smackdab in downtown Raleigh. Admission is free and there are lots of exhibits to enjoy. Don't miss the Living Conservatory with the Two-Toed sloth and butterflies!
Play - Drive Shack
A three-tier driving range with so many games, even the novice golfer will have fun.
Hike - William B. Umstead State Park
A state park right just 10 miles from downtown Raleigh, Umstead has many hiking and bike trails (most easy to moderate) to explore. Lake Johnson, closer to downtown, is also a great spot for outdoor explorers. Check out the kayak/paddleboard rentals and greenway walking trail.
