Imagine this: a stunning sunset hike at Oyster Dome with the sun gently setting over the Samish Bay. Ian had a brilliant plan up his sleeve (literally, since he had the ring hidden away). As the sun was setting, he dropped to one knee and popped the question! The couple celebrated their new engagement with bubbles & fellow hikers. But the real surprise happened the next day... Rachel was still on cloud nine from the proposal when Ian suggested that they meet their friends at a brewery to celebrate. Picture her shock when she walked into what she thought was just a regular Saturday hangout but was actually a surprise engagement party! Little did she know, everyone had been in on the secret FOR MONTHS except her. Their families were both able to travel for the occasion and made the engagement that much better.
