The attire for our wedding is formal. Our reception is taking place in a historic mansion and thus we would love our guests to look their best. We prefer tuxes and gowns, but are aware that such attire can be pricey and hard to travel with, so cocktail dresses and suits are also welcome.
Unfortunately, no. As much as we love your kids, we want you to have a night off!
Yes! There will be a shuttle that will be picking guests up at the hotel and transporting them to the Cairnwood in time for the reception. At the end of the night, the shuttle will take guests from the Cairnwood back to the hotel!
As much as we would love to invite everyone to our wedding, it is simply not possible. If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, you may bring one, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. Thank you in advance for understanding.
We tried our hardest to minimize the amount of time between the end of the ceremony (around 3 p.m.) and the beginning of our cocktail hour (at 5 p.m.), but unfortunately a short gap persisted. For this reason, we have included a "Things to Do" tab on this website to try and help you fill the time in between the two events.
Yes, of course! We want all of our guests to be comfortable and well-fed at our wedding. If you have a food allergy, please feel free to write it on your response card and we will be sure to let our caterer know.
