We first crossed paths in a Canadian Economics class at Douglas College. He was sitting all the way in the back, and when I turned my head, his name caught my attention—it sounded so familiar that I couldn’t help but notice him. From there, everything began to unfold. He asked me out for coffee, and that simple invitation turned into the beginning of our story. We instantly clicked, he told me he was half Greek, we laughed about silly things, and even though we were both incredibly nervous, it already felt like something special was beginning.
