Flight
We strongly recommend flying into Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) instead of Paris Orly (ORY). CDG is the main international hub for transatlantic flights, and the train station (Terminal 2) is at this airport. This makes travel from Paris to the Loire Valley more simple, efficient, and easier. Orly does not have direct train connections, requiring additional transfers into Paris. From CDG, Langeais is approximately 250 km (155 miles) southwest—about a 2.5-3 hour journey. There are several ways to reach the area, as listed below. Pro tip: We recommend arriving by Wednesday, September 2nd to beat jet lag and settle in before the festivities begin!
