Goldminer's Daughter Lodge

THE HOTEL IS NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS. You must call 801-742--2300 or email liz@skigmd.com to reserve your room. Bookings CANNOT be made online since it is the off-season. Make sure to mention that you are with the Villegas/Uhlig wedding. This hotel is our top recommendation for the weekend! It is less than a 5 minutes walk from the reception venue and they have a free shuttle available to guests for transport anywhere within the canyon (but not to the wedding ceremony).  The Goldminer's Daughter will not have any food services available, but the free shuttle can drive guests to nearby resorts, restaurants, hiking trails and other spots within the Canyon. To stay anywhere but here would require driving late at night on a poorly lit, windy canyon road. We don't recommend this. Also, cabs will be hard to come by this far from the city.

Rental Car

Renting a Car from Salt Lake International Airport

We highly recommend renting a car, recognizing that public transportation and car sharing services are nearly impossible to find in and around the area of the ceremony and reception. We recommend Alamo, Enterprise, or Hertz Rental Car Companies as they are highly rated. When searching for a rental car, make sure they are located "In-Terminal" as the "Shuttle" option is less convenient to pick up and drop off.

Train

Trax Green Line

The Green Line connects Salt Lake Airport to downtown Salt Lake City and the other Trax (above ground metro) lines.

Travel Note

Uber/ Lyft

If you dread renting a car, Uber and Lyft are available to pickup and dropoff in most locations in Salt Lake City. They will not pick up or drop off at Alta Peruvian Lodge, so plan accordingly. We highly recommend renting a car or car pooling to get to and from the ceremony/ reception.

Shuttle

902 PC- SLC Connect Bus

September 26, 2020 8:00 am - 9:00 pm

This bus runs from Salt Lake City to Park City and vice versa, four times a day. You can not use to to get to the ceremony, but if you want to make a seperate day trip to Park City without a car rental, this is the best way to do it!

Salt Lake International Airport (SLC)

We recommend flying into Salt Lake International Airport (SLC). It has the most flight options and easily accessible car rental options.
