Question
What will the weather be like?
Answer
Temperatures are usually very consistent year round in the Bay Area. By the coast, it is usually 60 to 70 degrees and overcast. In the Carmel Valley, it is usually a little warmer and sunny. The weather can change quickly throughout the day, so layering is advised.

What are the beaches like?
Answer
Some of the most picturesque beaches on the planet. They are a great place to surf, but you're gonna need a wetsuit. Water tends to be pretty cold (low 60s) and certain beaches have significant longshore currents. If you really want to swim in the Pacific go to Carmel City Beach and not Carmel State Beach or Monastery Beach (both of which have extremely dangerous longshore currents). The Carmel State Beach does have the Carmel River though, which is safe to swim in and tends to be a bit warmer than the ocean.

Can I bring a plus one or other family members and kids?

We request that only those named on the invitation attend.

What about transportation and hotels?
Answer
Carmel, Monterrey, and Pacific Grove have a multitude of hotels ( over 50!) at varying price points. Typically, Carmel is the most expensive with Monterrey and Pacific Grove being more budget friendly. Hotels range from major national chains to boutiques with 15 rooms. We have listed some recommendations under the Travel tab. For transportation, we strongly recommend a rental car. However, Uber and Lyft are options, but we cannot guarantee enough will be available post reception.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We strongly prefer you to be in the moment and let our photographer handle the picture taking. However, during the cocktail hour and reception, you may take photos and videos. Please be mindful of the photographer and enjoy the moment! We will have professional photos at the end and want you to see the night through your eyes, not your phone.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We ask that our guests wear formal attire. Examples: suits, sports coat (no jeans), floor length dresses, cocktail dresses, pantsuits, etc.
Question
What if I drive to the ceremony then enjoy the open bar a bit too much?
Answer
The venue allows for overnight parking so you may leave your car at the venue and take a Lyft/Uber back to your hotel/home.
