Check out how "Louisville Slugger" baseball bats are made (and take home your own mini bat)!
Great for kids and adults alike! Interactive learning rocks! Make a full museum day by pairing this with the Frazier History Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum, and 21 C all located on "Museum Row" on Main street.
If the weather works out, take a walk by the Ohio river. Stop at Wheel Fun Rentals to rent a bike and peddle or walk to Indiana and back on the walking bridge. Bonus: Stop by Widows Walk for some ice cream on the Indiana side before heading back to relax on the swings overlooking the river or heading to the playground.
Can you do a weekend in Louisville without a bourbon tour? Check out this distillery on "Whiskey Row", not to far down the road from "Museum Row"!
Schedule a tour of this Louisville distillery! (Reservations only)

Our favorite spot to go after too much "adulting", Lazer Blaze is a blast for laser tag, indoor putt putt and classic games like ski ball, air hockey, etc. If you beat our "down-the- clown" score you are uninvited. Just kidding! But we will probably challenge you to a rematch!
Axe throwing? I'm in.
Think much bigger version of Lazer Blaze (and less "Louisville exclusive"). Main Event boasts a gravity ropes course, bowling, games, laser tag, pool tables and restaurant.
Located on the University of Louisville's campus (where we met), The Speed Art Museum is a day well spent! Art Sparks on the lower level will have you captivated with all sorts of interactive activities.
Located on "Museum Row", The Frazier Kentucky History Museum is a great place to learn about..well...Kentucky.. History..
Home of the Kentucky Derby, Louisville's Churchhill Downs is an important part of the city. Unfortunately, there won't be any races this weekend, but you can still take a tour!
Weather permitting, an afternoon spent at the Louisville is an afternoon well spent! Follow up with Oskars Slider Bar for dinner! (For those used to the Cincinnati Zoo, you don't have to set aside quite as much time as you would there.)
Breakfast place that has something for everyone- including a cinnamon roll as big as your face.
There are two locations - This location is convenient if you're your staying downtown. Highlands location is great for outside seating. (956 Baxter Ave)
One of our favorite random date night spots. Shows are usually small but a great time.
