When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 20th, 2023. We have a lot of events planned so knowing the exact number in advance will help us plan accordingly.

What food will be available?

Answer

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided throughout the weekend at the Ranch. All meals will be buffet-style. Hot breakfast, coffee, and tea will be offered Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at Lost Coast Ranch. Sandwich making stations will be available for lunch. Friday will be pizza cooked in-house in the pizza stove, and Saturday will be a buffet of Greek/Lebanese/Armenian-style dishes. There will be vegetarian options.

What is the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?

Answer

Assuming you are staying in downtown Ferndale and not at the Lost Coast Ranch house, the only way is to drive. There are some dirt roads. See the Travel page for more information.

What attire is recommended?

Answer

For the olympics, we recommend you bring workout or comfortable clothes to move around in. For the murder mystery, we will send out out a costume recommendation. For the ceremony, the dress code is formal so dress your best, but note that we will be outdoors, and there WILL be a dance floor ;)

Can I attend only the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Of course! The main event, the ceremony, will be on Saturday June 17th at 5:30 PM at the Lost Coast Ranch. Please arrive by 5 PM so you can park and find a seat. Please RSVP accordingly!

Can I wear heels?

Answer

The ceremony will be on a somewhat uneven grassy meadow. If you are comfortable with heels on that kind of terrain, then yes, you can wear heels, though you may want to opt for heel protectors, block heels, or wedges. The ground will not be wet, and the incline is mild. The reception, dinner, and after-party are all on the concrete patios, so you can also change into heels after the ceremony.

Can we bring children or pets?

Answer

Pets are not allowed at the venue. We are also not allowing children unless they are directly related to the bride or groom. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather on the coast is northern California unpredictable, but it should be relatively warm and potentially windy! There will be places to hang out indoors if you get chilly, but most of the wedding will take place outdoors. For more information, go to the Travel page.

Are the ceremony and the reception in the same place?

Answer

Everything this weekend will be at the Lost Coast Ranch! The ceremony will take place in the meadow and the reception will be on the patio of the ranch, a short walk away.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes there will! But the bartenders do accept cash tips ;)

Will you be helping to create carpools from the Bay Area or other travel arrangements for the guests?

Answer

Yes, if you need a ride from the Bay Area please let us know. We will help to set up group carpooling closer to the date. See the Travel page for more details.

Is smoking allowed at the ranch?

Answer

No. You will need to walk down to the front gate (1 football field) to smoke. They are very strict about this.

Question

What's cellular service and wifi like at the ranch?

Answer

Cell service is spotty, but Starlink internet access will be available. We will provide wifi details on-site.
