The Wedding Website of Victoria Ames and Derek Easthon

Travel Note

Should I stay in Ripley or Erie?

It all depends! If you are just coming for the wedding and want to be closer to the venue, Ripley, NY (or Northeast, PA which is about a 10 min drive from the venue) could be the way to go. In Northeast there are lots of wineries and places to eat (like The Skunk and Goat - a cute little restaurant on Main St that was formerly a Bank!). However if you plan on making a whole weekend out of this trip, you may want to stay in Erie where there is plenty to do and you'll have access to Presque Isle (sun, beaches, ice cream, etc!). You'll have about a 30 min drive to the venue on Sunday if you do stay in Erie.
