11:00 pm
Attire: A slightly-to-fully haggard version of what you've been wearing
When the party ends, just walk down the stairs to the taproom to discover that the party hasn't actually ended at all.
10:00 am - 11:00 am
Attire: Your finest yoga pants
There will be yoga in some form or fashion on Friday morning. We're planning to gather outside by the lake so bring a mat or a towel. It'll be taught by the sister of the bride and wedding officiant, Melinda! Come see how she does in front of a crowd before the official event on Saturday.
10:30 am - 1:00 pm
Attire: Golf clothes Amelia wouldn't make fun of (Good luck)
Please email us at ameliajake19@gmail.com if you're interested in playing. Bomoseen Golf Club is a 9 hole course directly across the street from the Lodge. The course is real cheap and the guy in charge is real loose with the tee times in case you're wondering.
1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Attire: Something waterproof, probably.
Don't tell us you've never floatilla'd before. Don't even do it. What we're gonna do is tie a bunch of floats together (pizzas floats, swan floats, you know, the usual suspects) and... float. For a while. Kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are also available to rent at the Lodge. If you want to get really crazy, you can arrange to rent a boat from the marina. It's BYOB. Quick note about that: Drinking is somewhat frowned upon by the lakefront. Since we've got the whole place rented out, we'll have some leeway, but please be discreet. You're all adults. You know the drill. And careful not to overdo it. The day's just getting started.
6:00 pm
Attire: Casual but a little classy. One step up from shorts and a t-shirt.
If you're invited to the wedding, you're invited to dinner the night before. Simple as that. Join us lakeside for some casual food, drinks, tunes, laughs and lawn games.
8:30 pm
Attire: Seems unlikely you'd change after dinner
About 20 feet from where you just ate dinner there's a fire pit. We're gonna build a fire in it. The drinks will continue. We'll probably bring s'mores into the mix. Lakeside bonfire in the summer? We dare you to say no.
8:00 am - 3:00 pm
4:30 pm
Attire: It's a wedding, so fancy yourself up a bit. Guys, grab a jacket but feel free to skip the tie if you'd like. Ladies, we trust you. Sundress, jumpsuit, whatever. Leave the ballgown at home, but we know you'll look fabulous.
Our ceremony will take place on Neshobe Island, right in the middle of Lake Bomoseen. Unless you plan to swim in your formal wear, you're you’re going for a boat ride! Boats will start departing the lake dock at 3:30. Last boat at 4:15. Please be on time – if you miss the last boat, you miss the ceremony. That would be tragic for you.
5:00 pm
Boats will depart Neshobe Island and return you to the lake lawn. Cocktail hour will be kinda like Friday. Same place. But you'll be dressed nicer. And, oh yeah, we'll be married this time. Find us. Say congrats. We promise you'll get a hug out of it. Honestly, you'll probably get two hugs.
6:30 pm
There will be pizza. (There will also be other food.) There will be drinks. There will be dancing. Well, if dancing is your thing. No pressure. It's gonna be fun, though. We promise.
12:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Sunday we'll be grabbing a bite to eat/a drink in Rutland on our way outta town. Come say bye before you take off!
