Amber grew up in San Juan Capistrano, so going to the Mission and surrounding shops in Downtown SJC were regular excursions.
See the beautiful Harbor where Amber spent most of her time growing up on the water with her Dad. (Make sure you visit the Scoop Deck or Coffee Importers for some Ice Cream!)
Great for kids of all ages! Take a ride on the ferris wheel, jump on the ferry, or just explore the beautiful little beaches of Balboa.
If you are looking for beautiful beaches (even though it's November), Laguna is a beautiful one with a lot of eclectic shops.
If you want a little more secluded beach experience, go explore the coves of Corona Del Mar!
Did your pants get lost on your flight? Did you spill red wine on your only button up shirt? Are you still not sure what you are going to wear to our wedding? No problem, just a few exits away is a lovely Shopping Center where I'm sure you find something great!
Feeling Bougie? Go here, you'll fit right in!
One of our favorite lunch spots in Long Beach!
Amber's order: The Ditka on Squa Bread Art's order: Mean Joe Green Splt the Half order of Cajun fries (trust us, it's enough!)
Perfect for a day trip! You can catch one of the big boats that travel back and forth to Catalina Island (Avalon) every day for a pretty affordable price from either Dana Point Harbor or the Port of Long Beach. It's a great little city to go rent a golf cart and explore (yep, golf carts are the primary form of transport on the island!) You can also book tours that take you exploring all over the island or explore on your own! You can go hiking, drive to see the buffalo who live on the island, go snorkeling, take a trip in a glass bottom boat or "submarine", or just relax on the beach!
