Maid of Honor
Not only is Alyssa Amber's niece but she is also her best friend! Amber and Alyssa have been best friends for as long as either can remember and were inseparable as kids. They can remember begging their moms to stay just one more night at each others' houses after sleepovers. Now, they do not feel complete without seeing each other at least a few times a week and text/Snapchat daily. Alyssa and Amber share a love of cats, McDonald's Coke, playing the Nintendo Switch, camping, and listening to 90's/2000's rap. They have countless shared memories but Amber's favorites include staying up late talking, laughing, or freaking out about bears while tent camping and their girls' trip to Ludington.
Best Man
Alex met Jack their first semester at Michigan State University where they were blindly matched as roommates. They quickly became close friends and bonded over their shared love for sarcastic humor, computer building, and skipping their 8am Plant Biology class (which they did not realize they had together until the second week of classes). Jack has always inspired Alex to be a better man, whether in his relationship with Amber, his dedication to his friends and family, or simply a worthy competitor in ping pong. This best man is a loyal friend who is cool in every situation and can always make people laugh with his quick wit.
Matron of Honor
Amber met Jenn when Jack and Jenn began dating (Jenn's first memory of meeting Amber is on Amber's 21st birthday but that is a story for another time). Both were nervous that they would not like their boyfriend's best friend's girlfriend but Amber and Jenn instantly clicked over their shared love of animals, nature, and music. They became very close friends when the Carmody's opened their home to Amber and Alex when they moved to Lansing in 2018. Jenn is loyal and fun and one of the only people who will watch corny Christmas movies with Amber. Amber's favorite memories with Jenn include singing karaoke at Reidy's and taking our fur kids on adventures at Jenn's dad's house.

Jesse is Alex's youngest brother. Growing up, they had fun watching comedies like Mr. Bean and Wallace and Gromit which contributed to their goofy sense of humor. Jesse is one of the most caring, creative, and dynamic people Alex knows. When they are together, people often comment on how alike they can be! They share a fondness for music, DIY projects, shooting guns, hunting, and pickup trucks. Jesse never hesitates to jump into group activities or to have a conversation with a new friend.
Bridesmaid
Jill is Amber's sister and the one person Amber can always turn to whether she needs guidance and support or a laugh. When Amber was younger, Jill and her husband, Lester, always brought Amber on their family vacations. Jill shared her love of tubing down a river, rustic camping, music, and yard games with her little sister. Now, Amber and Jill love jamming to music, dancing, playing euchre, and going to craft shows. Amber's favorite memories with Jill include their trip to horse camp with Girl Scouts and nighttime golf cart rides while camping.

Andrew is Alex's younger brother and first friend. At a young age they spent countless hours building forts, becoming "master builders" with an enormous Lego collection, and playing army outside. Together, over the years, they discovered some of their favorite books and films including Lord of the Rings and Star Wars, as well as a love of games (especially those of the board variety). Andrew is smart, thoughtful, and very competitive, so give it your all if you challenge him in any yard games!

Shortly after Alex and Amber began dating, he met her older brother Ryan. Over the years, Ryan and Alex have secured their friendship over family dinners, target practice at Grandma and Grandpa Summerfield's house, and a common interest in cars, trucks, and off-roading. Ryan always comes through for the couple and even allowed them to live at his house while they were between moves. He is is smart, funny, and dependable and has demonstrated time and again that he and Alex have truly become family (he even let Alex borrow his truck once - that's commitment). Do not be surprised if you find Ryan talking shop about cars or guns, because he knows how to build both!

Erin and Amber met through Girl Scouts in Elementary School but became close friends after Erin invited Amber to a Big & Rich concert in 6th grade and they realized how much they had in common. Throughout high school, Erin and Amber shared many of the same classes and extracurriculars which made school much more entertaining. Shared experiences on trips to Germany, Florida, and in Michigan and sleeping over at the Wilson's for many nights are some of Amber's favorite memories with Erin. They are looking forward to celebrating both of their marriages this year!
Groomsman
Peter is one of Alex's oldest friends. Since elementary school (maybe even earlier), Peter has demonstrated what it is to be a true friend. They talked about everything and anything and even went as far as creating their own goofy language to secretly communicate while also making people laugh. Throughout high school and college, these two would often prank people into believing they were brothers! They still share a love of camping and Alex can always count on Peter to be his Píjiǔ Pong partner. If you have the pleasure to meet Peter at the wedding, it will be apparent why he is one of Alex's dearest friends.
Bridesmaid
Heather and Amber met at Teddy Bear Den Preschool. Heather was Amber's very first friend at school! They remained close friends and roomed together at Michigan State University. Heather taught Amber how to be a true Spartan by attending basketball and football games together, freezing at the Izzone campouts, and tailgating with the Lentz's. Planning our response to the zombie apocalypse during a walk on the beach and when Amber and Alex ran into Heather and her boyfriend, Jack, at the Renaissance Festival are two of Amber's favorite memories with Heather.

Alex met Brad while bartending at Bahama Breeze in Troy, MI. They would often find themselves deep in philosophical conversations after their shift. Brad is one of the most trustworthy people Alex knows and always gives careful thought to conversation. He also has extensive mechanic skills which he has generously donated to the couple on multiple occasions (and has also taught Alex a lot about cars (and life)). Given the opportunity, Brad will share any insight or wisdom he has to better those around him. If you see a pearlescent sportscar at the event, it is safe to bet that it will not rain - otherwise he would not have driven it.

Maranda and Amber have been friends since kindergarten. When Maranda rode the bus, they always sat together and played with their stuffed animals. Amber and Maranda still share a strong love of animals and enjoy getting their dogs (and families) together for playdates! When Fatjon started working at the Bahama Breeze Island Grille, it was not long before Alex knew he had found a new friend. The two quickly connected over humor, food, and beer. Fatjon is an unwavering example of fortitude and unconditional love and has proven to be closer to a brother than a friend. His generosity is second to none and has helped Alex and Amber with every single move since meeting them (somehow, even showing up unexpectedly)! Fatjon is so charming with his humor, wit, and courtesy that the couple almost allowed him to DJ their wedding but insisted that he attend as an honored guest instead.

Gabe is Alex's first and only nephew. He is one of the smartest, most well mannered, and good natured youngsters that the couple know! Amber and Alex adopted Lola in September 2018. While Amber was donating blankets to a local rescue, she saw 6-month-old Lola and knew she belonged with their family. Luckily, Alex felt the same way! Lola is the sweetest dog and adds fun and excitement to our lives. Lola shares our passion for the great outdoors. She loves joining us on long hikes, hunting behind our property, and swimming. Lola adores her sister, Karrie, and often brings Karrie toys to play with. You might see Lola following Alex and Amber around at the wedding or hanging out with her closest human friends. We are excited Lola will be included in our big day!
