Michigan State University
We love walking Karrie and Lola on campus! Points of interest include the Beal Botanical Garden, Beaumont Tower, the MSU Dairy Store, and the Broad Art Museum.
Lansing Brewing Company
A fun place to enjoy a cold beer! We recommend the Believe It or Not Cheese Bread, Chuck's Sticky Chicken sandwich, Jive Turkey Reuben, and Hey Margarita Pizza. All of the beers are great and we love the Old Fashioned with LBC's own rye whiskey.
Michigan State Capitol
If you're in Lansing, we recommend a trip to Michigan's State Capitol! We enjoy walking our dogs around the Capitol grounds and viewing the monuments. The Michigan History Center is also nearby!
Preuss Pets
Preuss Pets is Michigan's largest family-owned pet store with an amazing selection of fish, birds, reptiles, small pets, and pet supplies! We frequently visit Preuss to buy crickets for our tarantula. There are many fun shops and restaurants in Lansing's Old Town.
Laingsburg
Visit our new hometown! We recently bought a home in Laingsburg, MI, the town where Amber grew up! Points of interest include Sleepy Hollow State Park, Tammy's Bakery and Cafe, Pine Hills Golf Course, and Twilliger's Tavern.
Looking Glass Brewing Co.
A new local brewery we enjoy! Alex recommends the wings with an IPA and Amber recommended The Vegan burger with one of the sour beers.
McAlister's Deli
If you're staying in our room block at the Courtyard by Marriott Lansing, this is our favorite place for a quick bite to eat in the Eastwood Towne Center. We love their sweet tea!
