4:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Attire: Mountain Casual - Sundresses, button-down shirts, and elevated mountain wear are perfect.
Join us for a relaxed afternoon at the Marina as we kick off the wedding weekend in beautiful Colorado. We’re inviting all of our wedding guests to gather at the Frisco Marina for food, drinks, and plenty of yard games. Come enjoy the mountain views, mingle with friends and family, and start the celebration with us! Kids are welcome!
4:30 pm - 5:00 pm
Attire: Mountain formal - dressy with room for personality and western influence (cowboy boots and hats are welcome). Think elevated evening wear suited for a celebration in the mountains — formal, but not black tie.
We plan to have the wedding party walk down the aisle at 4:30, so please be sure to be seated by then. Both our ceremony & reception will be at the same location so you can settle in & enjoy the entire evening with us. For guests staying in Summit County and who said yes for transportation, there will be a shuttle to and from Donovan Pavilion to make the day as easy as possible. There will be 2 pickup spots, departing at 3:00pm, to take all guests to and from the wedding. The first, will be at the parking lot adjacent to the Silverthorne Transportation Center. The second, will be on Frisco Mainstreet at the Frisco Adventure Park parking lot. Both locations allow overnight parking if needed. These are also easy to Uber to and from, but please plan ahead as mountain towns can be a little slower with uber wait times. We will send out a text (from zola) that will give details on times. Please feel free to text with any questions as well.
5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
Join us for cocktail hour on the patio following the ceremony! We’ll be serving light snacks and drinks while you relax, mingle, and enjoy live music from a favorite local queen beginning around 5:15.
6:30 pm - 11:00 pm
Lets party! We will be serving pizza and have an open bar. Everybody bring your dancing shoes or cowboy boots. While we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only. We hope this allows everyone to relax and fully enjoy the celebration.
11:30 am - 3:00 pm
Sunshirts, sunscreen, any attire you would feel comfortable sitting on a boat for a couple hours
To all guests who would like to join, we will be organizing a group river float! We ask that everyone arrive at the put-in no later than 11:30 AM. The drive from Silverthorne takes about 1 hour, so please plan ahead. There is no cell service once you turn onto Trough Road, so if you are running late, we likely will not be able to communicate with you. We will have a rafting company providing rafts or duckies (your preference) at the put-in at Rancho. The company will also meet us at the take-out to collect the boats and provide a shuttle back to everyone’s cars at the put-in. Depending on the final group size and the number of people renting boats, we expect around 3–6 people per raft. We will confirm pricing soon, but expect the cost to be approximately $40 per person. This is a very mellow Class II float with a few small waves in certain sections, but no serious whitewater. It be a relaxing day on the river with beautiful Colorado scenery. Kids are welcome!
