Amanda and Andy met in the Fall of 2018, and whether or not it was a setup is still up for debate. They claim it wasn’t, but from that moment on, they knew something special had just begun. Just a few days later, they went on their first official date: sushi and a movie. Anyone that knows them knows that sushi and a movie is very suiting for them. Food quickly became their love language. Whether it was a new restaurant or a special date night, they loved poring over the menu together, talking about every menu item until they settled on the perfect dishes to share. Exploring new food and restaurants became their favourite thing to do. When the pandemic hit and everything was off the table (literally), they missed their food adventures more than anything, but they made the most out of what they could. Dinner dates out quickly became takeout meals at home, with playlists and the TV on in the background. Their tradition of sharing food lived on and made even the simplest meal at home feel special. Over the years, they’ve travelled to 11 different places across three continents, always finding the best food wherever they go. From street food to hidden gems, trying new foods when exploring new places became their favourite thing to do together. With each trip adding to their collection of memories. They are so excited to celebrate their big day with all of you. Their wedding isn’t just about the two of them, but about the love and laughter they’ve shared over the years.
