Flight

Chicago- ORD

If flying in from out of town, we recommend flying into Chicago O'Hare Airport or Chicago Midway Airport. If using public transportation, take the train (CTA Blue Line) to get to to downtown Chicago. From downtown, you can take the train (South Shore Line) to Miller Beach, Ogden Dunes, and many of the other surrounding lake front beach towns. If renting a car, Miller Beach is about an hour and a half drive from O'Hare.

We recommend booking sooner rather than later if you're going to use Airbnb or Vrbo as the vacation rentals book up in advance. Consider going in with a group of friends on a bigger house and make a weekend out of it or stay for a few extra days and enjoy a relaxing beach vacation!

Train

South Shore Line

If you are coming to the wedding from Chicago and don't want to drive, you can take the South Shore Line train to Miller Beach. There are 4 different stations in downtown Chicago where you can catch the South Shore. If you are not planning on staying overnight on Saturday, the last train going back to the city leaves at 10:18 PM. ** Please let us know if you are planning on taking the train so that we can plan the shuttle transportation accordingly!**

Ceremony & Reception Shuttle

July 15, 2023 4:00 pm - 12:00 pm

We will have a shuttle service on the day of the wedding that will be making one trip to the venue with stops at both hotels and at the train station before the ceremony, and will do two trips back after the reception. The first trip will leave the reception no later than 10:00 pm in order to catch the last train back to the city before heading to both hotels. The second trip will leave at the end of the reception around 12 am.
