What is "Summer - Formal" attire?

Answer

We want you to be comfortable and feel your best while still being a fashionable affair! Light gowns, cocktail dresses, florals, and dressy jumpsuits. Light colored suits, jackets and trousers, and dressy linen.

Are children invited to the wedding/ reception?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. Due to limited space, only those listed on the invitation will be invited. Thank you for understanding! If you are planning on making a family beach getaway out of the weekend, please let us know and we can help find a trusted local babysitter for the night of the event. Children are welcome to come to the beach party BBQ on Sunday!

Will there be transportation provided to/from the venue?

Answer

We will have a shuttle service on the day of the wedding that picks up initially at the hotels and makes a stop at the train station before heading to the venue. The ceremony and reception are in the same place, and cocktail hour starts right after the ceremony, so you will not need to leave the venue until after the reception. After the reception, the first shuttle will leave the venue around 10:00 pm to drop off anyone taking the train at the South Shore Line station to catch the last train into the city, and then stop at the hotels. The shuttle will make one more trip at 12:00 pm from the venue to the hotels.
