Indiana Dunes National Park
Chosen as one of the "Top 10 Urban Escapes" by National Geographic, the USA's newest National Park is a series of sites along the southern shore of Lake Michigan, which includes 15 miles of beaches, more than 50 miles of trails, dunes, bogs, historic sites, camping, and more. Pet friendly!
Indiana Dunes State Park
A state park surrounded by a national park, the Indiana Dunes State Park is 2,200 acres of dunes, marshes, swamps, hardwood forests, white pine groves, a summer lifeguarded beach. The park also includes 16.5 miles of trails throughout the area. Pet friendly!
Marquette Park Beach
The public beach in Miller. Has a bath house with restrooms & food stalls, and is the part of the lake in front of our venue!
West Beach
The public beach between Miller Beach and Ogden Dunes. Has a bath house with restrooms & food stalls as well as lifeguards. Also has a few hiking trails that cross through.
18th Street Brewery
One of our favorite breweries in the area! Great selection of craft beers with fantastically illustrated labels.
Miller Pizza Co.
A classic family-owned Chicago pizza joint thats been operating since 1985, just a block from the South Shore station. Also serving up other Chicago grub like hot wings, Italian beef, & meatball subs.
Shoreline Brewery & Restaurant
A family favorite for lunch, dinner, or a couple of beers whenever we're in town- with a large patio and occasional live music. They also offer growlers and crowlers of their beers to-go!
Shady Creek Winery
Shady Creek produces over 28 different wines, including Sweet, Sparkling, Dry White, and Dry Red Wines. The winery includes a sprawling, 20-acre wine production facility with patios & porches, fireplaces & a tasting room. The restaurant serves custom-crafted wines, and specialty foods while patrons enjoy live music and local artwork.
Miller Beach Farmers Market
Get a glimpse of local life! Every Sunday morning in the summer Miller Beach puts on a farmers' market featuring local producers, artisans, and food vendors. 11 am - 1 pm
