Megan and Amanda met in 2011 during their first day of SBCC women’s tennis tryouts. They hit things off instantly and became best pals. After City College, they both transferred to UC Santa Barbara and completed their Bachelors Degrees in Communication. Megan has been there for all the relationship ends and beginnings (cheers to forever being with Evan), ice cream and candy runs, long study sessions, laughs and tears, and milestone moments. A fun fact about Megan is she works for The Walt Disney Company (corporate) and has the same birthday as both Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
Ryan Brown
Best Man
Ryan and Evan go all the way back to the year 1998 when Ryan was born. Yes, the two are brothers. They have been through everything together, like playing hockey or skiing for the first time, going on camping trips, hiking, or biking, and enjoying family exhibitions. Ryan is currently playing hockey at Weber State, and Evan vicariously lives through his brother, as he is an alum and currently runs their hockey website. A fun fact about Ryan is that he loses large amounts of money and forgets. As an example, over the holidays, his parents put $1000 in his stocking, because they found this lost money of his behind the bed.
Andee Mckenzie

Andee and Amanda met at Yelp in San Francisco, when they worked on the same sales team. Andee would barge Amanda’s calls, help her close deals, and get those advertising agreements sent out to local business owners (Andee was top notch at sales… Amanda not so much). Their friendship flourished after leaving the company, with FaceTime dates and trips to places like Carmel, Santa Barbara, and Salt Lake City. The two may live across the country now, but they continue to stay in touch. For all your burning food inquires, Andee is your girl, as she works as the Assistant Food Editor at Food and Wine Magazine! Andee is such a star - she was even almost cast on a Disney+ show called “foodtastic.”

Andrew and Evan go back to their Middle School years, and they even played football together in High School. In fact, a fun memory is when they got to share the field together for their last senior football game and experience the first Friday night lights game in the history of South Tahoe High School football. They have also gone on skiing, hiking, and camping adventures together- they love the outdoors! They have remained close, even when they went off to college in different states. AVC has had the pleasure of being coworkers with both Evan, and his father, Adrian Brown. He currently works for ski patrol at Heavenly and is finishing Paramedic School, but is a firefighter as well.
Kenny Imery

Kenny was Amanda’s roommate during their Senior Year at UC Santa Barbara. They grew quite close with their shared interests and love of the outdoors, travel and adventure, hiking and beach days, Marvel movies, and both eventually becoming dog moms! As seen pictured, Kenny has a pup named Penny. Cute right?? Kenny is a true friend - she has been there through thick and thin. She is also always down to make new memories, so there is never any shortage of fun when Kenny is around! Kenny is quite the love doctor - at Tinder, she helps people from all across the world find the love of their life. Swipe right ;)
Jess Latta

Jess and Evan met back in Middle School. Funny enough Andrew was the one to introduce Evan to Jess. Like all the shared typical interests of skiing, hiking, and camping, the two also share a unique love for Pokémon, Kendama, and disc golf. Jess and Evan have been playing Pokémon together for the last seven years, but they dabble in other video games as well (this currently includes Harry Potter). Jess has mentioned to Evan that he has enough kendamas to start a fire big enough that would keep Andrew employeed for the rest of his life. Jess currently works at Blue Granite Gym and has recently taken up hobbies like running and cycling.
Amber Rexford

Amber and Amanda have known each other since their SBCC tennis days as well. They were even paired up as double partners! The two became close as they spent their free time together playing tennis, going to the beach, taking Disneyland trips, visiting each other at their four-year Universities, and enjoying dinner nights watching the Bachelor (they even got Evan to participate in their Bach brackets). And most recently, they spent time together in Amber’s new place of residence, Oahu Hawaii. A fun fact about Amber is that for work, she gets to take photos by the ocean. Not a bad place to have an office right!?
Steffen Bourne

Evan and Steffen met skiing at Heavenly around the beginning of high school (it is hard to pin point an exact time). They would rip around Heavenly together with Andrew and Jess, and then would indulge in all you can eat sushi on a weekly basis. Steffen would also show up for Evan’s hockey games, and would never say no to a disc golf session. He would even bring his Golden Retriever on the adventure (she was the portable beer/disc holder). Funny enough, the two realized years later that Evan’s mom was Steffen’s teacher for a time in his life. A fun fact about Steffen is that he was bitten by a shark.
