Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off as well! If you are coming from out of town and want to bring the kids, we ask that you bring a family member or trusted friend to watch the kiddos at the place you are staying (not at the venue) during the rehearsal and wedding.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal: tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. No casual attire. For women: if you want to trade the heels for flats, go right ahead.

What’s the best way to get around/get to the wedding venue?

Answer

For out of towners: we suggest renting a 4WD or AWD vehicle (just in case of snow). It is about 1.5 hours from the Reno Airport to South Lake Tahoe, and roughly 2 hours from the Sacramento Airport to South Lake Tahoe. This will maximize your experience here at the lake. There should be plenty of parking at the venue! You will need to move your car off the venue property at the end of the night or it will be locked inside.
