Spend some time in this adorable small town chock-full of wine tasting rooms and olive oil tasting featuring olives grown in the area. Take in the views of horse ranches and lavender farms on the drive over.
Visit this lavender farm - it should be in bloom in May. They grow Grosso (for oil) and Provence (culinary) lavender. They sell lavender products and you can see the distillery in action creating lavender oils.
Visit Solvang (set destination to Solvang Park) for a charming Danish-style town with bakeries, shopping, and easy strolling. For a meal try Peasant’s Feast or Coast Range.
