Our Venue

1880 Union Hotel
362 Bell Street
Los Alamos, CA
Long before it became the setting for our wedding weekend, the 1880 Union Hotel was already a place where stories began. Founded in 1880 by a Wells Fargo agent, it started as a frontier-era stagecoach stop and over the years served as a general store, hotel, and telegraph office for travelers along California’s Central Coast. Though the original building was lost to fire in 1893, the hotel was rebuilt in 1915 and lovingly restored over the years, preserving the Old West charm that first drew us in. For generations, it has welcomed countless guests, including Johnny Cash, who performed in the historic saloon in the 1950s.
We love the idea of celebrating our wedding in a place with so much history, where generations of travelers, celebrations, late-night conversations, and probably a fair share of mischief have unfolded. Now it gets to host ours.
