Hotel and Villa Considerations
Hotel and Villa Considerations Our main venue for the three-day celebration is Fonte de’ Medici Country Relais, which we have reserved exclusively for a portion of our guests. Due to limited availability, accommodations there will first be offered to our immediate families and wedding party. Rooms are roughly 300-400 USD/night For additional accommodations, we’ll share a list below of nearby hotels we recommend. You’re also welcome to book other hotels, villas, Airbnbs, or accommodations of your choice. Please note that Uber service is limited in this area, so we recommend renting a car or staying at one of the listed hotels, as shuttle transportation will be provided to and from Fonte de’ Medici.

We have reserved Fonte de' Medici Country Relais exclusively for the wedding party and a number of immediate family members. As RSVPs are returned we will be assigning rooms. We’ll follow up directly with pricing and next steps. The hotel requires a 3-night stay.

This hotel is 5 minutes away from Fonte De Medici (they have 13 rooms with private bathrooms in the villa along with other nearby villas with pools to be rented as a whole: (example: 5 apartments in a farmhouse with a private pool). Getting to Tuscany
Getting to Tuscany We cannot tell you how much we appreciate you making the effort to fly out to Italy and celebrate us. Whether you're coming in for the week, or extending your stay and jet setting around Europe, there are three airports in close vicinity to our wedding destination - Florence (FLR), Milan (MXP) and Rome (FCO). Florence is the closest to the venues, but will require a connecting flight. We hope you are able to use this as an opportunity to explore this beautiful country for a few days before or after our wedding, so please pick the option that best fits your travel plans! Florence (FLR): By car: 35 minute drive to the hotel. Rome (FCO): By car: 3 hour 10 minutes to the hotel. By train: 1 hour 30 minute train ride to Florence, then 35 minute cab ride to the hotel. We plan to fly into Rome and drive to the hotel via rental car. Another great option is to fly into Rome, take the train to Florence, and then rent a car to the hotel and have for the 3 days in Tuscany. Milan (MXP): By car: 4 hour 5 minute drive to the hotel. By train: 3 hour train to Florence then 35 minute cab ride to the hotel.

Transportation
Transportation Depending on your travel plans, you may choose to rent a car to get to Tuscany. We recommend renting a car if you are planning to stay in the countryside before or after the wedding. Free parking will be available at Fonte De Medici and Castello Il Palagio. If you choose to not rent a car, taxi service is available from the airport to the hotel. We recommend coordinating a taxi with your chosen hotel's concierge. Please keep in mind these car services can be expensive for day trips. Uber and Lyft are not available in Tuscany. NOTE: An international driver’s license is technically required. You can purchase one through AAA for $20 by clicking "View" below.
