When and where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place on February 15, 2026 at Lindsay Lakes in Cypress, TX. The ceremony will begin at 4 pm with a dinner reception to follow. Additional information is available under the schedule tab.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes, the plan is for the ceremony to be held outdoors. In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to the on-site chapel. The reception will take place indoors at the lodge following the ceremony.

What is the weather like at this time of year?

Answer

February in Houston can be unpredictable. We recommend being prepared for cool mornings/evenings and warm afternoons. Rain showers are a possibility as well.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask for everyone to wear business casual attire.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to celebrate with everyone, we kindly ask that only those indicated on the wedding invitation attend the ceremony.

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

To ensure a comfortable experience for all guests our wedding will be an adults only event, except for those children explicitly listed on the invitation.

Will alcohol be served at the reception?

Answer

We will be having a dry wedding (i.e. no alcohol). We kindly ask that guests refrain from bringing any outside alcohol as the venue does not hold it's own liquor license.

Am I allowed to take photos or videos?

Answer

During the ceremony, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking any photos or videos. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us during that special time. We have an amazing photographer who will be sure to capture all of the highlights. Once the ceremony concludes and the reception kicks off, we encourage guest to snap candid photos and videos of the night.
