Alyssa and Evan Jon met in Madison, WI in 2016 during the weeks leading to Aly’s graduation. An immediate connection sparked over intentionally deep, yet fleeting, conversation. Soon there after, Aly moved to Durango in pursuit of farming and a desert lifestyle. EJ separately discovered a love for camping and nature, which also brought him to Colorado. Their friendship deepened over passing years in the seldom exchanges when their paths would cross. Circumstances brought EJ to Durango. Times changed what had been a warm yet-platonic friendship. Aly proposed a partnership... and Evan proposed marriage.
