Hotel Room Block

After talking to several guests, we decided we will not be making a room block! We recommend booking with The Grand Lodge or The Lodge at Mountaineer Square for the closest hotels near the venue. We also recommend looking into air bnb or VRBO! There are plenty of rentals available! Our wedding is during the annual Crested Butte Wildflower festival, this means the hotels and rentals will be booked out as early as January 2026. Please look into your stay as soon as possible to guarantee a room!

Getting to Crested Butte

From Denver by Car • Take I-70 West to US-285 South (toward Fairplay). • Continue on US-285 South to US-50 West in Poncha Springs. • Follow US-50 West to Gunnison. • In Gunnison, turn right onto CO-135 North and follow it to Crested Butte (about 30 miles). • Total drive time: 4 to 4.5 hours (depending on traffic and weather). From Denver International Airport (DIA) by Car • Take Pena Blvd to E-470 South (toll road). • Merge onto I-70 West and follow the same route as above. • Drive time: 4.5 to 5 hours. From Denver International Airport (DIA) via Public Transportation 1. Bustang: Take the Bustang West Line from Denver Union Station to Gunnison (available select days). • Travel time: 5.5 to 6 hours. • Tickets & schedule: Ride Bustang 2. Gunnison to Crested Butte: Take the Gunnison Valley RTA bus (free). • Runs every hour from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. • Travel time: 40-45 minutes. • Schedule: Gunnison Valley RTA From Gunnison Airport (GUC) by Car • Exit Gunnison Airport and turn left onto CO-135 North. • Follow CO-135 for about 30 miles to Crested Butte. • Drive time: 35-40 minutes. From Gunnison Airport (GUC) via Public Transportation • Take the free Gunnison Valley RTA bus from the airport to Crested Butte. • Buses run hourly from 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Getting to The Mountain Wedding Garden From Downtown Crested Butte • By Car: Drive south on CO-135, turn left on Brush Creek Road, and follow signs for the Mountain Wedding Garden. • By Local Bus: Take the Crested Butte Mountain Express (CBMR Bus) to the “Town Shuttle Lot” stop. • From the bus stop, the venue is about a 5-minute taxi or rideshare ride.
