Q: When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

A: Please RSVP by 4/17/26 so we can finalize our guest count. You can RSVP online using the QR code on your invitation!

Q: What is the dress code?

Answer

A: We’re celebrating our big day surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and wildflowers, so we invite you to dress semi-formally with comfort in mind. Think light, breathable fabrics, casual elegance, and shoes suitable for walking on uneven terrain (no stilettos, please!). Floral patterns or earthy tones will complement the mountain setting, and we kindly ask guests to avoid wearing black. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in this beautiful and relaxed atmosphere!

Are there room blocks at hotels for me to book a room?

Answer

We have chatted with several guest and we decided not to make a room block! Please feel free to look at The Grand Lodge at Crested Butte or The Mountaineer, these will be the closest hotels near our venue! You can also look into VRBO, AirBnB, or in the town of Gunnison for lodging! There is a free shuttle from Gunnison to Crested Butte (about a 40 minute ride).

Q: Will the event be inside or outside?

Answer

A: The Ceremony site will be outside with not a lot of shade, we plan on providing some shade options but we recommend sunscreen! The Reception will take place in a beautiful pavilion! Both places are located within walking distance from each other!

Q: Are kids allowed?

Answer

Kindly Note: Children are welcome! We have included them in the RSVP so when you are ready to RSVP make sure you add if they’re coming too!

Q: Are there bathrooms at the venue?

Answer

A: There are two gender fluid bathrooms at the venue!

What time should you arrive?

Answer

A: Our Ceremony will start at 4:30 pm, please arrive as early as 30 minutes early to get a good seat!

Q: Will there be food or drink?

Answer

WE LOVE FOOD! So absolutely yes, expect to be fed and to drink till your hearts content! We have made sure to find catering companies that fit all the the dietary needs of all our guests!

Q: What is the parking situation? What about handicap parking?

Answer

There are LIMITED parking spots at the Wedding garden, HOWEVER if you stay at The Grand Lodge, The Lodge at Mountaineer Square, or The Elevation Hotel, there are shuttles from the hotel that take you right to the venue. If you are staying near the town of crested butte, there is the Town shuttle that runs every 15 minutes that take people from town to the wedding garden. If you are staying in Gunnison, take the shuttle or drive to the visitors center in Crested Butte and the shuttle will take you to the garden! There are no Lyft or Uber in town but the shuttle runs until 11pm!

Q: Will there be a live stream of the ceremony?

Answer

A: Unfortunately we will not be having a live stream, BUT we have hired an amazing video + photo team to capture the day so if you've missed out on this special day, stay tuned for the video release!

Q: Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

A: Our wedding is intimate, and we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Q: What will the weather be like?

Answer

A: July in Crested Butte is warm during the day (70s°F) but cooler in the evening (50s°F). We recommend bringing a light jacket!

Q: Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

A: We’d love for you to be present in the moment, so we’re having an unplugged ceremony—please keep phones and cameras away until after the vows! Our photographer will capture everything, and we’ll share the photos with you.

Q: Will there be an after-party?

Answer

A: Yes! After the reception, we’ll be heading to some of the local bars in town for a casual after-party!

Q: Can I bring a gift?

Answer

A: Your presence is the best gift! But if you’d like to contribute, we have a registry in the registry tab of the website!
