Getting to the Cancún Airport

To get to Playa del Carmen, most guests will need to book a flight. The airline and flight will be up to you to decide which option is best. The closest airport to Playa del Carmen is the Cancún airport.

From the Airport to the Hotel

Our wedding planner has booked a van service for guests arriving at the Cancún airport to take directly to the hotel. When you exit out of the airport, look for drivers holding signs for "Aly and Gage Wedding". Each van costs $50, and holds up to 12 people. We will try to coordinate the vans based on the flight arrival times in order to fill each van up with the most guests, which will lower the cost per person. You are welcome to take another cab service or rental car, but this van option is most likely the easiest.

This is the hotel that we have chosen to stay at. This resort is located on the beach and has 2 different pools for guests to use. We have a discounted rate with the hotel (the discount has been applied to the link, so there should be no need to use the discount code) for all guests attending the wedding. We are planning to have some get-togethers at the hotel before and after the wedding, so it's a perfect place for everyone to stay! This hotel is an all-inclusive resort, which means you are not only paying for the stay, but also access to the restaurants on the property. Should you choose to stay here, you are guaranteed breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the day which will all be included in the price per person.

This hotel is located in the middle of downtown Playa del Carmen and about 15 minutes away from the other hotel - the Reef Playacar. This hotel, unlike the other, is for adults (18 years and older) ONLY. This is not the hotel that we, Aly and Gage, will be staying at. We have a discounted rate with the hotel (the discount has been applied to the link, so there should be no need to use the discount code) for all guests attending the wedding. This hotel is an all-inclusive resort, which means you are not only paying for the stay, but also access to the restaurants on the property. Should you choose to stay here, you are guaranteed breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks throughout the day which will all be included in the price per person.

Reservations for the Hotel & Payment Terms

For guests to access the negotiated rates and conditions please follow these steps: Use the link provided to reserve a room (Reef Playacar or The Reef 28). Select your dates of travel. Guests must stay a minimum of 3 nights (10/1 - 4). Select package (if any). Provide the Credit Card information to book and pay for the room. Get the confirmation number. It is important to note that: One night will be automatically charged at time of booking. 50% of total balance will be charged 90 days prior arrival date. The full balance will be automatically charged 30-days prior to arrival date to the original credit card used when making the reservation. Should this payment decline, you will receive a notification at which point you will be given 48-hours to contact the hotel with full payment. Should they not receive full payment within these 48-hours, your reservation will be automatically cancelled. If the payment cannot be processed through the credit card, the reservation will not be valid.
