With multiple locations in Ithaca (including Collegetown Bagel), Ithaca Bakery is a great stop for coffee, breakfast, lunch, and dessert with a wide selection of bagels and breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, panini's, and pastries.

MIX
An absolute favorite of ours! MIX has the BEST breakfast and brunch in Ithaca, with a wide selection of specialty omelets, eggs Benedict, french toast, pancakes, waffles, and much more. Try their cheesy potato casserole and have one of their specialty mimosas! MIX is also a fantastic dinner spot, and serves a variety of tapas and larger plates. The best part is the delicious cheese bread brought out before the meal.
Ithaca Ale House
We went here on our first date - needless to say, we had a blast! Located right on the Ithaca Commons, stop by for lunch, dinner, or drinks and explore the area.
Tacos CDMX
One of Eliot's favorites! Authentic street tacos in a cute little part of downtown Ithaca. A quick and unique lunch option!
The Boatyard Grill
A popular restaurant located on Cayuga Lake, Boatyard has delicious food and beautiful views if you are lucky enough to sit outside.
Saigon Kitchen
A gem Ally didn't know about until she met Eliot, Saigon Kitchen has the best crab rangoons and pho, as well as other Asian foods.
Finger Lakes Cider House
Located about 30 minutes outside Ithaca on the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, the Finger Lakes Cider House is our favorite spot for delicious cider and farm to table food.
Brewer's Kitchen & Taproom
Located on the edge of Ithaca near the couples house, Brewer's is a great option for food and drinks. They have a variety of local beers on tap and a cute, spacious outdoor area.
Liquid State Brewing Company
Located in downtown Ithaca, Liquid State Brewing Company is a great choice for drinks, as well as dinner as the Silo Chicken Food Truck is parked right outside! It's Ally's favorite brewery in Ithaca!
Ithaca Commons
The Ithaca Commons is home of a large variety of restaurants, shops, and bars - including Ithaca Ale House (where we had our first date), Simeons (Ally's favorite restaurant), and Viva Taqueria (Eliot's favorite restaurant).
Cayuga Lake Wine Trail
With many wineries along the way, you may wish to stop at some of the many Fingerlakes wineries located on Cayuga Lake, or pop over to Seneca Lake for even more delicious wines.
Bar Argos
A historic inn located right off the Ithaca Commons, stop by Bar Argos for some upscale drinks and atmosphere.
Cornell Dairy Bar
Located on the Cornell University Campus near the veterinary school, you can try some of Cornell's own ice cream. If you're lucky, your ice cream may even include some milk from one of Ally's dairy milking shifts.
Purity Ice Cream Co.
A local favorite for some ice cream and the BEST doughnuts (as well as some other desserts and food).
Ithaca Farmers Market
Open only on Saturday and Sunday from 9am-3pm, stop by the Ithaca Farmer's Market located right on Cayuga Lake for a variety of food vendors, fresh bread, local plants and veggies, ice cream, fresh lemonade, crafts, jewelry and other handmade items.
Cornell Botanic Gardens
A nice place for a nice, peaceful stroll, located on the Cornell University campus.
Stewart Park
Located on Cayuga Lake, you can take a stroll or swing by the lake, walk a few miles to the lighthouse, or rent a kayak.
Taughannock Falls Gorge Trail
Located right at our wedding venue, Taughannock Falls has some of the best waterfalls in the area! It's a favorite of ours to hike with the dogs. You can hike the trails, hang out at the Taughannock Falls State Park by Cayuga Lake, or drive to the overlook for the view.
Buttermilk Falls State Park
A busy but beautiful hike to some of the popular waterfalls in Ithaca!
Cascadilla Gorge Trail
Eliot's favorite waterfall hike in Ithaca! A fairly short and easy hike (some sets of stairs) with multiple waterfalls along the way located right in downtown Ithaca.
Robert H. Treman State Park
Hang out at the state park and take a swim in one of the natural pools, or take what I consider the most difficult but beautiful hikes in Ithaca. If you are feeling extra in-shape, take the extra trail and set of stairs to Lucifer Falls! It's worth the view!
Museum of the Earth
The Museum of the Earth is a natural history museum located 10 minutes from downtown Ithaca.
