Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We want our guests to dress to impress! Our wedding has a formal to black-tie dress code and we can’t wait to see everyone we love dressed to the nines! This means a tuxedo or black suit, floor-length gowns and formal dresses. We want everyone to enjoy the elegance of the occasion.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive between 4:30-5PM to allow time for parking, grabbing a cocktail or two, and seating. Our open bar and a wedding illustrator (an artist to paint your picture) begins at 5PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 5:30PM.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at the Inn at Taughannock Falls in the outdoor Enchantment Garden, located at 2030 Gorge Road, Trumansburg, NY - just 20 miles outside of Ithaca, NY. We are so excited to share our special day with you with spectacular views of Cayuga Lake and the Taughannock Falls. Please note both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, but there is a spacious tent and heaters available for inclement weather.

Is there transportation to and from the off-site room-block hotel to the ceremony? Is there onsite parking?

Answer

Transportation will NOT be provided to or from the ceremony. However, there is a room block available at the ceremony/reception venue for guests to reserve rooms, and the Inn at Taughannock Falls has plenty on-site parking is available. Please note if you are not staying on site, we strongly encourage you to utilize local taxi companies or designated drivers to prevent drunk driving. Unfortunately, Ubers and Lyfts are hard to come by in Ithaca - so please try to reserve a car or taxi in advance if you are staying off site.

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’re happy to share there will be an open bar all night! Cocktails, mocktails, wine, beer and other beverages will be available starting at 5pm prior to the start of the ceremony and will last through the night. Be sure to try one our specialty cocktails! We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

There will be a welcome party with snacks and drinks the night before the wedding at Ithaca Beer Company (122 Ithaca Beer Dr, Ithaca, NY 14850) from 6-8pm.
