Cynthia Zheng

Maid of Honor

Cynthia, or more recently, Chief Resident Dr. Zheng, has been a Allison's rock and sense of calm since high school. Though they can go months without a single word or text, yet they make a point to prioritize their friendship, always picking up right where they left off last. Their friendship is rooted in celebrating & supporting each other's accomplishments, poorly singing in the car, at concerts, and in front of pianos, a love of going out for good food, comforting silence with plenty of naps on the floor, and most importantly, endless, ambitious laziness.

Stephen Arthur

Best Man

If you opened a Nixon Elementary 04-05 yearbook, you'd find that Kevyn and Stephen cited their favorite part of the year as “I met Kevyn J.” and “I met Stephen A.” The two met in 4th grade and have been best friends ever since. Stephen has never beaten Kevyn in a game of Mario Bros. DS, and Kevyn has never beaten Stephen in a wrestling match. Despite how much their lives have evolved, they continue to bond over their favorite video games, childhood TV shows, and laughter.

Angela D'Alia

Matron of Honor

Angela and Allison first met at Brookside Middle School in 2017, when they were hired together as first year teachers. Clicking right from the start, they tackled teacher-life with daily (necessary) phone calls, quickly becoming much more than just co-workers and navigating adulthood together. Angela is the actual mastermind behind most of this wedding, while somehow simultaneously a new mom to the sweetest baby girl, juggling teaching sixth graders, and getting her Ph.D in English (go Ang!).

Ryan Jaremko

Best Man

Yes, they are brothers! (Ryan takes after his dad.) Kevyn's first assessment of Ryan was "cute, but when can he play video games with me?" This excitement would quickly wane (7 years is a big gap!), and it would be many more years until Kevyn would willingly spend time with his little brother. Nowadays, they'll often share a few drinks over a not-so-friendly game of Catan. Kevyn likes to think of himself as a source of inspiration for Ryan- whether it be his taste in games, his interest in computer science, or even his habits and mannerisms.
