Getting Our Head Counts

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1, 2025. You will be able to do so right here on our wedding website. Step One: Click “RSVP” in the navigation menu at the top. Enter your first and last name, exactly same way that it appears on your invitation. If you're RSVP'ing for you and a guest (or your family), you'll be able to RSVP for the entire group together. Step Two: Click Will Attend or Will Not Attend next to each name on the RSVP. Don't forget to select your meal preferences! Step Three: Press SUBMIT! If you're having trouble submitting your RSVP or aren't seeing your name in the results, please contact Kevyn or Allison, and we will take care of it for you. =)

Arrival Time?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30pm on Friday, September 12, 2025 at Rock Island Lake Club in Sparta, NJ. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to ensure a timely start to our festivities. Please arrive with extra time to take in the scenic view of the lake, slow down (you know who you are), snap a quick photo, walk to the outdoor ceremony location, & find your seat with loved ones.

Dress Code?

Answer

We kindly ask for this to be a formal event, so think suits and gowns (or cocktail dresses). All walking and seating areas are paved. Feel free to jazz it up with some personality - fun, festive colors, patterns, sparkles, or whatever makes your feel your best! We want to see you shine, too. Given that it's a September wedding with a (hopefully) outdoor ceremony in front of the lake, please dress appropriately for the weather. Think low 70s during the daytime, and 60s in the evening (17-22 degrees Celsius). Cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors, but be sure to take advantage of the lakeside lawn, bonfire, canopied balconies, etc. They will be accessible all evening. This science teacher is crossing her fingers for no torrential rainfall during peak hurricane season. =)

Park your car and your stresses at the door, and let's party! – complimentary & hassle-free valet parking is provided by Rock Island Lake Club.

Taking Photographs?

Snap away! Capture the moment. And please share! Post pictures using the hashtag #KevynBroketheLaw on Social Media - Facebook & Instagram @allisonlaw_13 or if you're feeling extra spicy, @ms.law_allendale. (& no, Kevyn still doesn't use IG...) While you are taking pictures, please be courteous of our wonderful photographers, and use your best discretion not to interrupt the ceremony.

Dietary Restrictions & Allergies?

Our love language is food, and our biggest goal of the night is that our loved ones leave bursting with happiness and full bellies. There will be gluten-free and vegetarian options available. Please note any dietary needs or allergies when you RSVP, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Hotels & Accommodations?

Answer

Many of our guests will be traveling from out of town (and out of country) to join us for our special day. To ensure your comfort, we arranged room blocks and transportation from a nearby hotel (Sheraton Parsippany Hotel), but you actually may find better luck with nearby Airbnb's. There are many beautiful lakes nearby with available lodging! You can find more information about accommodations on our website's "Accommodations" page. We also put together a short list of some of our favorite local spots to eat, drink, and explore in the area (under "Things to Do"). Feel free to reach out if you need further assistance or recommendations.

Shuttles? Ride Shares?

Transportation to and from our wedding venue will be provided only for those staying at our hotel block will be available. Pick-up from the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Returning shuttles will leave promptly following our reception at 11:00 PM. Ubers/Lifts/Ride Shares? While you will be able to use ride shares to get to Rock Island Lake Club, it's not recommended to count on these apps to find a ride home at the end of the night. It's often very challenging to find an Uber/Lyft in the area in the evening. Please plan for alternate transportation.

Children and Other Guests?

We love your kids—we really do. But, we want our wedding to be a night off! This is an adults only wedding, with the exception of immediate family children. And, while we wish we could invite everyone, please only bring a date if indicated on your invitation. If you think we forgot someone important, please let us know!

Is there an open bar? Well, of course! Absolutely. A full, premium open bar service with all your favorites, plus 20+ beers on draft are available at Rock Island Lake Club. We'll be offering two signature cocktails, as well as your standard coffee, tea, water, and soft serve drink service too. Let's do this thing!
