They can make sure you are all set.

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we absolutely love your kiddos, we are asking to keep wedding festivities kid-free!

Question

Do we have to stay on Virgin Gorda?

Answer

For transportation reasons, wedding day accommodations should be confined to Virgin Gorda. Due to limited accommodations, there is no hotel block, however, we've provided suggestions for where to stay on our Travel + Accommodation section. The island is small, so if you just let the resort know you're coming for the Hunger/Duncan wedding, they'll take care of you!

Question

Should I bring cash?

Answer

YES! Bring USD cash with you down to the BVI. We highly encourage coming down with enough to last your whole trip mainly for taxi's and ferry's. There are very few ATM's on Virgin Gorda.

Question

Do I need to call in advance for Taxi's?

Answer

We highly encourage everyone to use our list of vendors and schedule taxi's ahead of time. They can always accomodate day-of requests, but keep in mind they operate on island time so it's best to schedule in advance.

Question

What grocery store should I go to if I am staying in a Villa?

Answer

If you are staying in a villa, they typically have a provisioning service you can fill out prior to your arrival, and your food will be waiting for you upon arrival. Otherwise, we suggest going to: Chef's Pantry - Leverick Bay Rite Way - Spanish Town Buck's Food Market - Spanish Town

Question

What should I pack?

Answer

Passport Cash- in USDollars. We suggest using cash for the local ferries, and cash is the only way to pay for taxis. Taxi rides can be anywhere from $5-$30 per person depending on where you are going. Cash is also important if and when you want to tip anyone. ATMS are VERY limited on Virgin Gorda. Credit Cards- Please don’t forget to warn your bank that you are traveling internationally. Bathing Suits !!! Lightweight Raincoat- it will most likely rain briefly daily while you are here. Whatever you want to wear really…but make sure you have an outfit each day of fun! Chargers- We have the same outlets as America If you forget something, don’t fret, we do have stores here.

Question

Should I make dinner reservations?

Answer

Yes! On the nights we don't have group activities (i.e. Thursday after the Welcome Party) we highly encourage you to make a dinner reservation somewhere in the area. Checkout our "Things to Do" section with recommendations. & remember, there are no delivery services like Uber Eats.

Question

What is the attire for the ceremony & reception?

Answer

Beach-Formal. We ask that men wear sport coats, no tie. Bring a bathing suit & towel if you want to turn the reception into a pool party!
