Schedule

The Wedding Website of Allison Pineault and Jake Gleason
As with all outdoor adventures, you never know what the weather will be. This is our current game plan, but it is subject to change (maybe as late as the day before when we have a better sense of what the weather will bring!) We'll update accordingly. Feel free to join us for any or all parts of our celebration!

Friday Welcome Dinner

5:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Oakledge Park - Upper Pavilion
11 Flynn Ave, Burlington, VT 05401

We're planning a chill Friday night BBQ at Oakledge Park in Burlington for anyone interested in eating food and visiting with family and friends before tomorrow's festivities! We'll grill hamburgers and veggie burgers, and have salads, snacks and seltzers. Folks are welcome to drop by for an hour or stay for the whole thing. We've reserved the Upper Shelter from 3pm - 8:30pm and the park has beach access so feel free to come early and swim/paddle or throw a frisbee and play volleyball, pickleball or tennis. We'll be arriving around 3:30pm to set up and will start grilling around 5! We'll wrap up around 8:30pm so everyone can get an early night for the morning ceremony! :)

Ceremony

10:00 am - 10:15 am

We love being outside and have spent many hours paddling this reservoir! We're excited to get married in a place that we love and will try to make it work even if the weather isn't perfect - pack a raincoat or umbrella in case! If the weather forecast is terrible, we will either shift times, or relocate indoors to Isham Family Farm (our reception venue). Be sure to give us the best contact email when you RSVP and check for updates the week before! We're also going rogue and making this a bring your own chair event! Or bring a picnic blanket... or sit in the grass... you decide (give a shout if you have concerns!) For attire: wear something you feel good in! We'll be in cocktail/semi-formal for the ceremony but will have bathing suits/casual clothes for after! If you want to save your nice clothes for the evening and watch the ceremony in shorts and a t-shirt, do it! Happy hanging outside in a full gown? That's fine too, just know, there is grass, dirt and water at this venue :).

State Park BYO Picnic (Weather Dependent)

10:30 am - 1:30 pm

(RSVP not required for this event, you can play it by ear on the day of!)

Our favorite part of the weddings we've attended is getting to visit with friends and family! We've decided to have a morning ceremony and a midday low-key family reunion style hang-out so we can have more time visiting with everyone -- feel free to join us! There are rental boats, a swimming beach and grassy areas for frisbee. We'll bring some lawn games as well. We won't provide lunch for this so bring your own picnic/drinks, towel/beach blanket/book/chair and whatever else you want to relax outside. Stay for some of it or all of it! We'll probably head out around 1:30/2pm to prep for the evening festivities! We suggest wearing something you are comfy in! If you want to swim, bring a bathing suit (there are bathrooms on-site you can change in). Check the weather before you pack, Vermont weather is fickle and it could be 65 or 95! Dress & plan accordingly! You're also welcome to explore other VT spots during this time. Check out our 'Things To Do' page for other ideas!

Dinner & Dancing

5:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Isham Family Farm
Williston, VT 05495

This will be a casual dinner with dancing (and dessert!). Dinner will be wood-fired pizza and salads made on-site by a local pizzeria! We'll have a collection of bubbly waters and (hopefully) some drink stations with lemonade and water. As alcohol is not a part of either of our lives, we have decided to make our reception alcohol-free. We'll likely be in cocktail to semi-formal wear for this as well but feel free to go more casual or more formal if you'd prefer. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Sunday Brunch

9:30 am - 12:00 pm

Join us for bagels and coffee Sunday morning at Jake's folks (Mary Ann and Mike's) house: 23 Winooski St. in Waterbury! This will be another casual get-together for anyone still in town and interested in popping by. Feel free to hang for the whole time or swing by for a quick visit and breakfast before your drive home. We'll put out some lawn games and visit in the backyard if the weather is nice (or under pop-up tents if the weather is drizzly!)
