When booking flights, we recommend looking at Athens first, then taking a short, often affordable regional flight to Chania.
Athens isn't the only option, you may find convenient routes through major European cities (like London) with direct flights to Chania. That's what we're doing! We suggest exploring a few options to find what works best.
Chania International Airport (CHQ):
About 30 minutes from Chania and the most convenient option, with many direct European flights in summer and frequent connections from Athens.
Heraklion International Airport (HER):
About 2.5-3 hours from Chania. Crete's largest airport with more flight options if you don't mind a scenic drive.
Ferries:
Ferries from Athens take 9-12 hours, so flying is easiest.
Villa tip: Booking.com often has better rates than Airbnb in Chania!

This is where we are staying with our families! The resort has limited availability, but if you are looking to stay here please reach out to us first. We have reserved a few additional rooms that will be first come first serve! As of 4/24 we still have 5 unclaimed rooms. This location will have transportation to the venue day of the wedding.
