Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline has now passed and we're finalizing plans for the wedding weekend. If you haven't RSVP'd but plan to join us, please reach out to us as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate you. If you're attending, please don't forget to complete our Travel & Accommodation Form once you've booked your trip so we can plan transportation and other logistics for the weekend: https://forms.gle/6TcufbYYwMG21U1i9

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

Roxani Estate in Chania, Crete!!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress Code: Greece Formal Dress in a way that feels elevated, effortless, and suited for a warm, coastal evening. Think long or midi dresses in colors or patterns. Suits in lightweight fabrics such as linen or seersucker are recommended. Jackets encouraged, ties are optional! Footwear: Please keep in mind that our venue is on grass and gravel, so comfortable footwear is encouraged. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Do I need a travel visa?

Answer

Please make sure you have checked that your passport is not expiring within 6 months of travel!! As of October 2025, travelers from Australia, Israel, and the United States can enter Greece without a visa for stays under 90 days. That said, travel rules can change, so we recommend double-checking entry requirements as it gets closer. We’ll also keep this section updated if anything new comes up. You may have heard about a new system called ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) - it’s a quick online authorization that the EU plans to introduce for visa-exempt travelers. At the moment, ETIAS isn’t expected to launch until late 2026, so you likely won’t need it for our wedding in September 2026. Still, it’s a good idea to check the official EU ETIAS website closer to your trip (sometime in early 2026) for any updates. If the system launches earlier than expected, the application will be an easy online process that takes just a few minutes and costs around €7.

Question

Children

Answer

Unfortunately due to our guest capacity, children cannot attend the events. It will be an 18+ weekend with the exception of a few close family members!

Question

Will there be transportation to the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! We’ll be providing shuttle service to and from the venue from a few dedicated pickup points - specifically, the hotels we recommend for guests. If you’re not staying at one of those locations, you can still join the shuttle by making your way to the nearest pickup spot. More details on exact times and pickup points will be shared closer to the date.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Roxani offers on-site parking for guests who wish to drive. However, please keep in mind that there will be an open bar, and driving under the influence is strictly enforced in Greece. We encourage everyone to take advantage of our wedding shuttles or arrange safe transportation back to your accommodation after the celebration.

Question

Getting Around Crete

Answer

If you are planning to travel the entire island, we recommend renting a car as public transportation can be limited and unreliable outside of Chania. If you prefer not to drive, you can use FreeNow (the local taxi app). Most taxis accept credit and debit cards. We will also share some local taxi numbers closer to the wedding! For car rentals, try using comparison sites like rentalcars.com or carjet.com to find the best rates. It’s usually more cost-effective to purchase their online insurance rather than the one offered at the rental desk. The main difference: with online insurance, you’ll pay upfront for any damage and later get reimbursed; with in-person insurance, you’ll pay more but won’t be charged in the event of an accident. For those using public transit, you can find the Chania bus schedule here: chaniabus.gr/en.

Question

Currency Recommendations

Answer

The currency in Greece is the Euro. Credit cards are welcomed in most places (Visa, Mastercard), but AMEX may be declined. Cards are generally accepted but you may need some cash, especially at remote villages and small businesses. It's best to withdraw cash upon arrival from bank ATMs (or in your home country at a currency exchange), as anything else is targeting tourists and has extensive fees. Piraeus – the yellow ones Alpha bank – the blue ones Eurobank – the blue red ones and Ethniki National bank of Greece, the green ones

Question

Will I need an adapter?

Answer

Yes! Don't forget to bring an EU converter. These will likely not be available on site, but you should bring some with you. Hair dryers and irons will be available on site at most hotels.
