We have taken the liberty to gather some information from local hotels in the area! It's far from an exhaustive list - and doesn't represent some of the great options on airbnb and similar apps - but hopefully can be a start for those of our guests looking for accommodations. The Charleston area is very large, and you are welcome to settle anywhere you please. The wedding itself will take place in Mt. Pleasant with the reception downtown. Staying downtown would definitely be a splurge for most, but if that's what you're looking for, by all means!
We would highly recommend giving yourself an extra 15 minutes beyond what Apple or Google maps says to get to 440 Whilden Street due to Charleston's infamous traffic, particularly as the wedding is close to rush hour on a Friday.
(A pro tip: check Waze or Apple Maps' scheduled drive time calculations for a more accurate read.)
