Yes!! Throughout the main course, hors d'oeuvres, and desert there will be a gluten free and vegan option, and all of the catering staff will have access to full ingredient lists for each dish as well- don't hesitate to ask. Allie has plenty of food sensitivities herself, so we are determined for everyone to have something to enjoy. Please indicate on the RSVP form what your restrictions, voluntary or not, are, and let us know if they change prior to March 1st.
Cocktail! So suits not tuxedos, and longer dresses rather than short or casual ones. It is worth noting that the majority of the evening will be located in the Gibbes' garden which has gravel flooring, so please plan footwear accordingly.
The latest we can accommodate is March 1st.
Yes! Parking for the ceremony is available in the gravel lot next to the church, located at 440 Whilden Street. As for the reception at the Gibbes Museum, there is a City of Charleston parking garage located one block away from the Museum at 85 Queen Street. Free street parking is also available with no hour limits past six, so long as you are parked legally (make sure to take note of the street name). A good place to start looking would be Queen St or Chalmers St, two blocks away.
We recommend planning to arrive 15-30 minutes early. If something does happen and you arrive late, we ask that you please wait and join us at the reception so as not to disrupt the ceremony.
While we want you to have the best possible time, we have limited ability to give plus ones. We are reserving them for long term significant others and those invited who will certainly not know another there. We appreciate your respect for the limitations of the pew capacity of the church.
While we adore all our friends and family regardless of their age, we are asking that only the adults join us, unless the child has been asked to serve in a specific capacity in the celebration.
