During our stay here, we visited this art hub that had huge marble columns and giant statues decorating the building! A fun 30 minute activity to walk through.
Mexico City's tallest building! the entry fee cost about $25 each person and 166m tall! They have a museum that you can learn about the Tower's constructions and the earthquakes that tested it's stability. There is food vending and snacks available for those that want to lounge at the city view. Finally, at the top of the towers is an open looking deck where you can point out some of Mexico City's treasured landmarks! This was a lot of fun for Chuck and I when we went and ended up staying to watch the sun set with the amazing view! Bring a sweater because it does get chilly!
This museum is located on the southern side of Mexico City! Its definitely a must see if you have an eye for art and want to learn more about the history of Frida! There is usually a line so try to account for wait time if you're planning to go here!
La Villa is one of THE biggest churches you can find in Mexico City. It holds so much historical value to the city of Mexico as being the birthplace of the saint Guadalupe. Learn about her history and visit the old church where she appeared on top of the hill where you can also catch a beautiful view of the city.
On the southside of the city as well!! This is were we got engaged. You can visit the market side and go shopping! or you can pay to ride one of the gondolas and enjoy a peaceful waterside and mobile water vendors!
Zocalo is the downtown of Mexico City! It is the center for the hustle and bustle of shops, museums, churches, food and more! If you decide to look up any guided tours this might be one of the visiting stops you'll get to see.
Still a must see for Chuck and I! This giant monument makes you feel like you've stepped into Europe!
This cathedral feels like you're stepping back in time! Take a moment to appreciate the devotion and historal preservation of some of Mexico City's Catholic churches!
