Question

How much money do I bring to Mexico?

Answer

Depending on if you are going to be bringing back a bunch of souvenirs or not we would recommend bring anywhere from $50-$100 per day (per individual) you're staying in Mexico **excluding the cost of hotel** If you plan to make a vacation out of this trip and will be visiting tourist attractions, we recommend accounting for that as well I would not recommend using your credit card in Mexico. If you're worried you'll run out, opt for bring more cash as a back up.

Question

Is it safe in Mexico?

Answer

Like any large major city, there will be things you need to look out for and precautions you may need to take to ensure your safety. There's no doubt that you will probably stick out, however staying in groups will be one of the best defenses from people taking advantage of you. Like any City, be aware of your surrounds, never keep all your money in one spot (leave some at the hotel), always know where your valuables are, and try to keep your phone charged.
