1. Who are the wedding vendors?

Answer

2. Can my invitation be changed from live streaming to in-person?

Answer

We really wish we were able to invite everyone to the in-person festivities, but we were not able due to space constraints and budgetary means. We absolutely love all of you which is why we will try our best to make our virtual guests feel just as included as our in-person guests.

3. What time should I arrive to the ceremony and/or reception?

Answer

The doors will open for the venue at 4pm, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm. The reception will follow and is expected to begin between 5:30 - 6pm.

4. What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual Description from MasterClass: "Semi-formal attire is similar to business casual and slightly less formal than cocktail attire. Outfit options include button-down shirts, dress pants, and dress shoes, and jumpsuits, tea dresses, and knee-length dresses. Your semi-formal outfit’s color palette depends on the time of day—wear light colors for daytime events and darker colors for evenings."

6. Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

All events will take place indoors and there will not be a cocktail hour. See #8 for timeline.

9. How do I get to the wedding venue? Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Courtyard by Marriott and Holiday Inn Express have offered to transport our guests staying at their hotels to and from the wedding venue (Ivy Center) on the wedding day. Additionally, all 3 of the hotels listed on the "Hotel/Travel" tab of our website have shuttles that will take you to and from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. You will just have to call the front desk when you land at the airport to let them know you're ready for the shuttle to transport you, and you'll do the same thing when you're ready to leave the hotel. 10. Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes there is a large parking lot just for the wedding party and guests.

11. Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to space constraints and safety restrictions, we are only able to accommodate children already included on the wedding guest list. To confirm invited guests, please type their name into the "RSVP" tab. If there are any questions, please email us at blackstock2023@gmail.com or text us at 404-480-2975.

12. What type of food and drink will be served during the reception?

Answer

We will have New Orleans, Jamaican, and American (kids only) cuisine at the reception. For alcoholic beverages, Queen's Cocktails will be serving a variety of beers, wines, liquors and cocktails.

13. I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

Yes there will be. Queen's Cocktails will be serving a variety of beers, wines, liquors and cocktails.

Answer

16. Can I take pictures during the ceremony to post on social media?

Answer

Yes guests can take photos but please be conscious of the professional photographers and videographers we have hired to capture the day. If they are taking shots of your area, please refrain from using your personal device until they are finished.

19. I can't attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

We are sorry to hear that but we will be live streaming the ceremony on YouTube Live! https://youtu.be/X1RMTAzEnKk If you received an invitation for in-person, please decline the in-person festivities and accept the live streaming event.

20. I'm visiting from out of town. What can I do while I'm in Atlanta?

Answer

Please see the "Things to do in Atlanta" tab of this website for a few of the places we love.

21. Can I bring a gift to the wedding? Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes we will gladly accept any gifts guests bring to the wedding, but we would prefer guests give electronically via the registry on this website/Zelle/Cashapp/Venmo to optimize venue space on the day of the wedding. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

22. Will there be any other events to attend during the wedding weekend?

Answer

No, there will not be additional events for all guests.

23. When will the reception end? Will there be an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end promptly at 11pm. Our wedding party have planned an informal after-party at The U Bar (3515 Camp Creek Pkwy #50-70, East Point, GA 30344), and our private shuttle driver will be able to drop off guests to The U Bar between 10 - 11pm.

24. What health and safety measures will you be taking during the event?

Answer

We will have hand sanitizer available all throughout the venue and we are encouraging guests who feel ill to stay at home and view the wedding via the livestream.

25. How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

Answer

We have collected everyone's contact information and will send mass messages via text and/or email if any updates are presented. Please let us know if you have not been receiving our messages sent via Zola and Evite.
