FAQs

The Wedding Website of Chad Gaffney and Allie Curoe
Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire Gentlemen, suits are encouraged—ties are optional but welcome. Ladies, mid- to longer-length cocktail dresses are perfect. Basically: dress to impress, but be ready to dance! 💃🏻

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 PM, so we recommend arriving by 4:30 to find your seat, settle in, and get ready to celebrate with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and guest,” please bring them along! If not, we’re keeping it intimate with family and friends—thanks for understanding.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.

Question

What’s the weather like in March?

Answer

Texas weather is notoriously unpredictable—fingers crossed for sunshine! The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), cocktail hour will be on the patio, and the reception will take place indoors. March typically brings mild temps, but it wouldn’t hurt to bring a light layer just in case it cools off in the evening.

Question

What’s the parking situation?

Answer

There’s parking available on-site at the venue, and you’re also welcome to Uber or Lyft (which we definitely encourage—celebrate safely with us!). We’re also planning to organize a shuttle to and from Hotel Van Zandt in downtown Austin—check back here as we get closer for details and timing.

Question

Who should I contact if I still have questions about the wedding festivities?

Answer

For any questions, feel free to reach out to Michelle Curoe (Maid of Honor) at michelle.curoe@gmail.com, or Karen Stauffer (Mother of the Bride) at kkstauff@yahoo.com. They’ll be happy to help!
